Personalized Pendant Workshop: Create a One-of-a-Kind Piece of Jewelry

With Valentine’s Day looming, can we all agree on something? The only thing better than a handmade gift is a personalized handmade gift. Join us at the Elysian Theory Studio on Saturday, February 8th for an intimate jewelry workshop where you’ll design and create a monogram initial pendant—perfect for gifting or keeping as a treasure for yourself. Your finished wax model will be cast in your choice of yellow bronze or sterling silver and comes on a matching chain.

In this 4-hour workshop, you’ll learn various techniques to mold different types of jeweler’s wax into a bespoke mini-sculpture that will be transformed into metal with the ancient art of lost wax casting. Whether you’re a seasoned creative or simply curious about dabbling in jewelry making, this workshop is designed for all skill levels, offering hands-on guidance from start to finish.9

You can stop racking your brain for a gift idea that screams “thoughtful and unique”: you’ve found it.

Beautiful jewelry and super fun workshop

I have been following Elyse's website for a while. Her work is so beautiful and I have always wanted to get a piece but her bespoke pieces were always hot commodities and got sold out super fast. When she announced her custom pendant workshops, I was very excited to sign up and I am so glad I did.
The workshop was an incredible experience. The studio was beautiful and open. Elyse was well prepared and very engaging. She explained how lost wax casting works and showed us her work process. She was very patience with our questions. Then we were able to work on our individual pendants. The wax models were then sent away to the casting company. Elyse then cleaned up and polished our beautiful pendants before sending them back to us. I now have a unique heirloom to treasure forever.
After the workshop, I was very inspired and started my adventure of making jewelry. Thanks to the tips and advice Elyse gave us at the workshop, I was able to make more pendants as Christmas gifts for my family and I don't plan to stop any time soon.
If you are looking for an experience with your dear friends, or if you are looking into picking up another hobby, the workshop is a great idea. It is worth every penny spent. I cannot recommend them enough!

Great Workshop

Elyse's workshop was incredible! We learned all the steps of wax casting, a bit of the history, and how to make our own pieces to be molded and then cast into bronze or silver. After the piece was finished and delivered to Elyse, she cleaned up any edges and polished it. Would absolutely recommend this workshop if she does it again!

Such a great experience!

Elyse has so much knowledge to share and has such a talent for working with people, the time flew by and it all just flowed so well. I could just listen to her talk forever, she walked us through the studio and explained how she creates in her space, a side of jewlery making I’ve never seen before. This was all before we even got to the creating part!

Overall such a unique stellar experience and so well organized— everything was perfect from the workshop participant size to the table layout to the amount of instruction/guidance Elyse provided. The working table was set-up with all the supplies needed, Elyse went over the basics and explained the process behind what we were doing and gave plenty of time to let us work while answering any questions as they came up. I went in with zero prior experience and was able to complete my pendant and I love it! Seriously who else can say they made their own pendant!? Wild. Very neat.

Whatever she’s teaching next, count me in! It’s definitely going to be the best experience around and seriously so worth it.

Unique, Fun, & Informative!

I signed up for this workshop with no prior experience or real knowledge about making jewelry, so I was a little nervous walking into it, but Elyse was a fantastic teacher! She started with an informative overview of wax casting with examples and demonstrations. By the time we started working on our pendants, I felt much more comfortable and confident. Elyse was super helpful if I had any questions or needed help, and I am so happy with how my pendant came out and I feel really proud of what I accomplished thanks to Elyse!

Workshop attendees were provided very clear directions and instructions to get to the studio, which I appreciated as someone who struggles with directions. The studio itself was so beautiful, and I loved seeing all the jewelry and get a peek into how the jewelry is made.

I can't wait for future workshops to be announced because I will most definitely be signing up again!
